p/reHAB - EXERCISE & SPORTS INJURY MANAGEMENT
This in-person clinic will deliver to Fitness, S&C and other related professionals 12 hours of intensive, “live” training in injury rehabilitation and prevention of future occurrences.

Prehab or “prehabilitation” refers to proactive measures taken to prevent injuries or minimise potential risks before they occur. In the context of exercise and sport, prehab involves:
- Identifying potential weaknesses: Assessing clients’ movement patterns, strength, and flexibility to identify areas prone to injury.
- Implementing preventive exercises: Incorporating exercises that strengthen vulnerable areas, improve flexibility, and enhance overall resilience.
- Enhancing mobility and flexibility: Improving range of motion, reducing muscle imbalances, and promoting optimal movement patterns.
The goal of prehab is to reduce the risk of injury, improve overall fitness, and enhance athletic performance.
Rehab or “rehabilitation” refers to the recovery from an injury or illness. It involves:
- Assessing the injury: Evaluating the nature and severity of the injury to determine the best course of action.
- Creating a recovery plan: Developing a structured program to promote healing, restore function, and prevent future injuries.
- Progressive exercises and strengthening: Gradually introducing exercises to rebuild strength, improve range of motion, and restore functional movement patterns.
The goal of rehab is to help individuals recover from injuries, regain strength and function, and return to their normal activities.
By incorporating prehab and rehab strategies, personal trainers and fitness professionals can help clients:
- Prevent injuries
- Recover from injuries

Prehab and rehab are essential components of a comprehensive fitness program, and can help individuals achieve their goals while minimizing the risk of injury.
